Manoff Hard Cider is Delicious, Local, & Traditional

Not sure what to serve with appetizers or the main Turkey event?  Want to add a little intrigue to the beverage selection at your table?  Let us help you choose the best cider pairing.  Be sure to ask when you’re in the market.

Have left over hard cider in your fridge? Use it to cook. Excellent as a braising liquid for meats or deglazing a pan of vegetables. Here’s our favorite veggie recipe using Manoff hard cider and apple cider syrup!

Gary’s Caramelized Ginger Carrots

Ingredients:

3 cups of peeled carrots sliced in two inch rectangles, a thicker julienne cut

Manoff apple cider syrup

Ginger, amount to your taste one nub or more, peeled and chopped same size as the carrots

Garlic, 2 cloves smashed and left whole

Hard cider, a splash, and a glass for the chef (comfort w/a twist, Goldrush, or whichever you have in your fridge!)

Method:

Oil your pan over medium/high heat

Add ginger, garlic and saute for one minute

Add carrots and add a couple drizzles of apple cider syrup, 3-5 TBs

Saute on medium high heat for 2-3 minutes until caramelized

Deglaze the pan with Manoff hard cider, a splash, and allow to cook off until no liquid is left

Turn off heat and serve while warm with your entree

Cheers!
